Choosing Add Node I then have to know it's node name and its address. Clicking on that I have a choice, Add Node, or Add All nodes. Now I go to my ISY, click on Node Servers and I see BlueIris. I have gleaned, correctly, I hope, that I need to modify the server.json and put in the name, password and ip:port of my BlueIris program. Then I wrote a simple program on the ISY to have the camera triggered when a motion sensor detected motion. In fact, I set up a network resource on my ISY994i/ZW to command BlueIris to trigger a camera. However, should there be problems, you'll spend more time and energy trying to get others to fix it for yourself than you would with having an understanding of how things ( ), am fairly comfortable with BlueIris. Yes someone may be willing to tell you have to program what you want. I say this because you will have issues at some point. Id recommend using their forums, support, and familiarizing yourself before trying to add the nodeserver and jumping headfirst into things. Have you tried the blue iris webpage? Blue Iris has their own forum pages where you can go for help in learning how to use their system in addition to paid support if you do not wish to take the time to teach familiarize yourself with the software and teach yourself. Polyglot is a great idea, but the end user like me needs a bit more help. Nor can I find the information about how to set up Blue Iris. I do have the Blue Iris node server installed into Polyglot, but I can't find the documentation on how to set it up. OK, two simple things, I'd like to be able to send from my ISY994i a signal to trigger a camera. When a particular one triggers, I'd like to turn on a light, run a program, or even just set a variable in my ISY994i.
